Kevin Boyle Overview

With over 25 years of experience as an electrician, I began my career in commercial and industrial environments before spending the past 15+ years specialising in the domestic sector. Throughout my career, I have achieved the highest JIB grade — Site Technician Gold Card — along with multiple advanced certifications, including Level 4 in Design, Erection, and Verification.

I entered the renewable energy industry 16 years ago, taking the lead electrical role on commercial solar PV installations. Working alongside roofing teams, I served as the main and only electrician on site for projects such as Baron’s Key for Balfour Beatty and several school installations under a solar contractor. These early projects provided the foundation for my long-term focus on renewables and helped shape my technical approach to system design and commissioning.

Where am I now

Since then, I have partnered with leading solar PV manufacturers and built strong relationships within the industry. My commitment to quality and innovation has earned ongoing recognition, placing 3rd nationally for Renewable Energy Champion 2023, followed by a National Special Commendation in 2024. Our business has also collected multiple awards over recent years, reinforcing our reputation for high standards, reliability, and customer service. More recently, we have been invited to partner with Octopus Energy, further strengthening our position within the sector.

With a strong customer-focused background, I bridge technical expertise with clear and honest communication, guiding clients through system design, installation, and product specification. Combined with over 16 years of renewable energy experience and a consultancy-led approach, I am committed to delivering efficient, future-proof, and financially sound solutions for both domestic and commercial clients.
